Volkswagen Arteon

Volkswagen Arteon

I’m not generally known as a fan of the VW Beetle. But the story about the Volkswagen Arteon that I did last year together with Johannes Riegsinger for a VW special in the AutoZeitung convinced even me of the design of this vehicle. And when you think back to the flowing choppers of the first model years, it makes you shudder. Well, no, at best you yawn and are annoyed that cars that you have long forgotten suddenly reappear before your inner eye.

But this one is a real success and the rather strange golden yellow metallic paintwork is also pleasing to the eye. The whole thing in the golden evening sun in early fall, almost kitschy. Incidentally, the fact that my work equipment can be seen inside the vehicle was the express wish of the client…

Incidentally, the choice of music was also specified by the customer. But what could be more fitting than listening to Kraftwerk’s “Autobahn” on it?
