Swedish aircraft manufacturer Blackwing is once again raising the bar in the ultralight segment with its new model, the BW650RG. Powered by the powerful Rotax 916 iS, the aircraft sets new standards in terms of performance, efficiency and range. The new Rotax 916 iS with 160 hp ensures impressive climbing performance and a high cruising speed. Blackwing speaks of a maximum speed of approx. 350 km/h TAS – values that are otherwise only known from the Echo class. The engine is turbocharged and suitable for operation with MOGAS and AVGAS, which keeps operating costs low and increases flexibility.
