It’s hard to believe that this car photography shoot took place seven years ago. But every time one of the images from this vehicle production comes up in an archive search, it is once again spectacular and impressive to see the dynamics and atmosphere we were able to capture back then.

The setting was a real challenge: the only runway was a grass runway, which can cause unsightly green reflections in the photos. Such conditions pose particular challenges for photographers and the team – you have to be creative and make the best of the situation. And that’s exactly what we did.

Fortunately, we had two excellent drivers on board who steered their vehicles over the runway with precision and sensitivity. In addition, there was a pilot who was prepared to push his limits and fly the aircraft as slowly as possible. This is no easy task, as there is a fine line between flying slowly and a dangerous stall. But that is precisely what makes such car photography productions so exciting: the interplay of precision, skill and the willingness to push the limits of what is possible.

The atmosphere during the car photography production was electrifying. There are those special moments when everything comes together perfectly: The technology, the light, the weather – and of course the people who give their best with passion and expertise. This is exactly what is reflected in the pictures. They not only tell of the beauty and power of the vehicles, but also of the extraordinary commitment and teamwork that takes place behind the scenes.

Such vehicle shoots are not only technically demanding, they are also emotionally moving. You are fully in the moment, focused on every detail and anxious to get the perfect shot. The adrenaline, the tension and ultimately the joy when you see the results are what make these projects so special. It’s these experiences that stay with you for a long time and make you long for more projects.

I very much hope that the coming year will once again offer such spectacular photo productions in the field of car photography. The combination of challenge, adventure and the opportunity to create truly unique images of vehicles is simply unbeatable.
